The lack of social interaction between residents in residential complexes built over the past few decades and the lack of suitable spaces for this purpose have made residential complexes a cold and lifeless place. Therefore, the design of the central courtyard of Janyar in the historic houses of the city of Isfahan was designed and attempted to redefine the spirit of life, light, greenery and freshness in the courtyard space of the old houses in a modern frame in the Janyar open building. It is envisaged to enhance the existing visual landscape, green roof and communal terrace on the south and north sides of the building. On the other hand, enabling light penetration from the roof to the lobby to have bright corridors next to the green wall, and the anticipation of a green courtyard with a pavilion, a children’s playground, and so on to create a vibrant space in Janyar’s building.
